World Blood Donor Day on June 14 marks global focus on universal need
Carter BloodCare offers donor thanks with plane tickets, gift cards, grills and more
BEDFORD, Texas (June 7, 2023) – Carter BloodCare joins blood centers around the world in observing World Blood Donor Day 2023 on Wednesday, June 14. The World Health Organization-led event raises awareness of the importance of consistent donations and thanks volunteers for their lifesaving donations.
As special Lone Star thanks, Carter BloodCare is offering a World Blood Donor Day promotion with a range of incentives.
Each person who donates blood, platelets or plasma on Wednesday, June 14, at a Carter BloodCare donor center or blood drive will receive a scratch-off card* for a chance to win:
- Two round-trip tickets on Southwest Airlines
- $150 Visa gas card
- YETI cooler
- Traeger tailgater grill
- … and additional incentives.
