Carter BloodCare offers long-sleeved hooded shirt during National Blood Donor Month
In recognition of National Blood Donor Month in January, Carter BloodCare is thanking each donor with a new long-sleeved shirt.
The hooded shirt features the slogan “Make yourself proud. Donate blood.” This exclusive thank-you gift for Carter BloodCare donors is available while supplies last.
Through Jan. 12, each Carter BloodCare donor also will receive bonus Dedicated Donor Rewards points to redeem for a $20 e-gift card.
National Blood Donor Month recognizes the vital role of donors in building a safe, available blood supply.
The need for this lifesaving resource is nonstop. Without it, surgeries and medical procedures can be delayed until blood becomes available.
Donating with Texas-based Carter BloodCare helps local children fighting cancer, mothers having childbirth complications, surgery patients, people hurt in car wrecks and others with severe trauma injuries.
Eligible donors are 17 years of age and older; 16-year-olds can donate with parental consent. There is no upper age limit.
Donors also must weigh at least 110 pounds and feel well on the day of donation
Donor appointments are appreciated and walk-ins are welcome at each nearby Carter BloodCare location.
