We’re introducing The O Negative Effect in 2025.

O negative donors will receive 3,000 bonus Dedicated Donor Rewards points, enough for a $50 e-gift card, for each donation made in 2025.*

Thank you for being a blood donor. You are a lifesaver for patients in need.

*Points are automatically added to your account. Double red cell donations will be awarded double the points: 6,000. It may take up to 3 days after a donation for points to register. A qualifying donation results in the collection of red cells; appointments for whole blood, double red cells or an attempt to donate that does not result in red cells collected will not be awarded bonus points. Deferrals do not count as a donation.

Bonus points are in addition to those earned by donating and keeping an appointment. Email is required for e-gift redemption. Points can be used toward e-gift cards or any other items available in the donor store. Dedicated Donor Rewards points earned in 2025 will expire on February 28, 2026.

If your appointment is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances outside of Carter BloodCare’s control, points will not be awarded.
