2024 Platelet Challenge

We’re introducing a new Gold Standard.

Because of the increased patient need, as well as requests from Texas’ cancer treatment hospitals, Carter BloodCare’s Gold Standard Platelet Challenge is bigger in 2024. To help meet the increased need and thank those who donate, each platelet donor will receive 3,000 bonus Dedicated Donor Rewards points – enough for a $50 e-gift card – for every platelet donation in 2024.*

Plus, a new e-gift card Reward Link option in the Dedicated Donor Reward store will allow you to pick from more than 200 vendors.

*Points are automatically added to your account. It may take up to 3 days after a donation for points to register. A qualifying donation results in the collection of platelets; appointments for platelet donations or an attempt to donate that does not result in platelets collected will not be awarded bonus points. Deferrals do not count as a donation.

Bonus points are in addition to those earned by donating and keeping an appointment. Email is required for e-gift redemption. Points can be used toward e-gift cards or any other items available in the donor store. Dedicated Donor Rewards points earned in 2024 will expire on February 28, 2025.

If your appointment is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances outside of Carter BloodCare’s control, points will not be awarded.
