INFLUENCER SCHOLARSHIP CONTEST
Do you have what it takes to be an influencer?

The need for blood is constant. Blood, platelets and plasma are used to treat cancer patients, trauma victims, those dealing with illnesses and many others. One blood donation can save three lives.

Sharing the need for blood with your social media circles can influence others to donate and will save lives. If you’ve ever wanted to test your skills as an influencer, this is the perfect opportunity.

High school seniors (class of 2025) will compete for a chance to win a college scholarship. There will be two winners, with each receiving a $2,500 scholarship.

The contest starts on August 1, 2024. The deadline for submissions and the end of the contest is November 30, 2024. Winners will be announced by December 16, 2024. Must attend a high school in the Carter BloodCare service area to be eligible to win.

HOW TO ENTER
The steps are simple:
  1. Create an account on one of the four major social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or X (formerly Twitter), if you don’t already have one.
  2. Create content (which can be a post, reel or video) addressing one of six topics:
    1. Why do you think it’s important to donate blood?
    2. Explain the donation process
    3. Tell a patient story
    4. Interview a blood donor or blood recipient
    5. Explain ways to prepare for a blood donation
    6. Encourage others to donate
  3. Influencers MUST include at least one fact from the fact sheet, attached here.
  4. Post to your personal account and tag @CarterBloodCare.
  5. Submit your entry by completing the form below by November 30, 2024.
