During the summer months, the demand for blood donations remains constant, yet collections often decline due to school breaks and seasonal travel. Continued donor support is essential to ensure a stable blood supply. Schedule Now.

Are children allowed to accompany a donor to the donation location? Can I bring children with me when I donate?

For the safety and convenience of all donors and staff, it is preferred that toddlers, infants and children younger than 9 years old not be brought to a donation location, unless the donor brings someone to look after the child/children during their donation process.

In certain circumstances and with Collection staff’s discretion, children younger than 9 years old may be permitted in the waiting area only, if the child is able to sit unaccompanied.
